3′s a crowd!

they say three’s a crowd. a little crowded than before it sure is, haha, but very cheerful nonetheless. here, izz harith and haifa izzazi welcome their little brother izz hakkan to their world. hakkan is 30 days old today. (long way to go, huh? :p) these faizul’s juniors..they’ve been kertas puteh’s most loyal clients, having returned for one photochekeet session after another!  it’s ever so flattering, hehe, and most of all i’m just very happy to see them grow before my eyes.

happy growing up, lovelies!

thrill the world

have u heard of it? no? check what it’s all about at www.thrilltheworld.com

here in malaysia, the fans pay tribute to MJ at dataran shah alam last sunday on october 25th. yes, simultaneously across the globe.  i’m no MJ fan (and i definitely don’t dance, i mean, can’t dance. at all.) but i woke up early on a sunday morning anyhow (on a rainy, nice-to-sleep-weather, that’s major!) to join the fun and the thrill of the event.

it’s really supercool to see the fans dressing up as zombies (in so many funny versions too!) and danced to the hit thriller song almost quite perfectly, despite the rain. (i said almost. haha). and it’s just amazing how strangers turn friends to make this event a success. that’s 1malaysia, in their own thrill!

sure it was one helluva experience for me too, even when i was just standing by shooting them away. well i must say it was worth waking up early on a sunday morning. =p these fans actually DID thrill the world.

thrill on, dudes!

qis engaged!

so it was deepavali. and no i didn’t get to shoot the festival of lights. instead i witnessed the engagement of a beautiful friend to the luckiest guy. it came as quite a shock that the engagement was ultra simple. it’s probably the simplest do i’ve ever been to so far!

but here’s what i call simplicity at its best! u go, qis!

qis looks (it’s present tense here, coz she always is!) beautiful in lavender, and her hantarans were gorgeous too (no surprise, she made them herself), the cake was stunning and food was great. yes, that satay bar in pavilion is hers. =)

congrats babe! hope it’s gonna be a smooth-sailing journey up til the big day (and beyond!)

heylow october!

so october’s here once again. october is breast cancer awareness month, and raises awareness for the second leading cause of death among women. pink has become symbolic of breast cancer awareness.

did u know that breast cancer hits 1 in 8 women? did u know that 1 in 35 will die of breast cancer?

this october is personally special and meaningful for kertas puteh. this year, 2009, marks the 5th year mom of mom’s fight against breast cancer, and today, the doctor removed her files from the hospital. she’s officially a SURVIVOR! no news can be any better than this. it’s the best news for us here at kertas puteh thus far. =)

so show your support, wear pink. whether you’re a survivor, know a survivor, or just support this important cause. wear pink. (i normally don’t, wear pink – really really, but oh well.)

wear pink

spread the love and save the boobies yo!
